# Edit a Rule

* To edit an existing Automation Rule, follow the steps mentioned below : 

1. Select your Site and then an App. 
2. Go to “App Settings” under “Settings” of your App : 
   1. From the left menu, go to either User Based Rules, Record Based Rules or Time Based Rules depending on where your existing rule is 
   2. Click “Edit” against the rule which you want to edit.
   3. Change rule name and/or add/delete Conditions or Actions for the rule. 
   4. Click “Save” to save your changes.
