# Conditional Formatting

* Conditional Formatting rules allows you to change the text colour and background colour of the data in the List view based on the Conditions defined as part of the rule.
* Below example shows a Conditional Formatting rule setup to change text colour of field `Driving License` when the `Driving License Expiry` date has already passed:
