# Column Control

Column control action allows you to hide fields or make fields as required/mandatory if the [Condition(s)](http://worksmart.net/user-guides/dynamic-custom-apps/automation-rules/record-based-rules/rule-conditions/) of your rule is/are satisfied.

You can define below mentioned types of Column Control actions :

* Hide Fields
* View Only Field
* Required Fields
* Hide Choices
